Workshop (in english)
Focus on your risk analysis – assessing country-specific risks, including modern slavery and forced labour
How can organisations review their risk analysis and realistically assess issues such as modern slavery and forced labour in global supply chains? Our practice-oriented half-day workshop on 20 October 2025 will address these questions.
Modern slavery and forced labour remain critical global challenges that increasingly affect millions of people in various industries and supply chains. Workshop participants will examine the validity of their risk analysis and assess the consideration of country-specific risks – particularly with regard to forced labour and modern slavery. Appropriate measures will also be presented and discussed.
This interactive workshop raises awareness of exploitative practices, imparts practical knowledge and provides a forum for exchange.
Participants can expect:
- an in-depth understanding of the relevance, definition and key indicators of modern slavery
- a critical examination of their own risk analysis and assessment of country-specific risk factors
- practical approaches to preventing and reducing risks
- inspiring best practice examples from companies and organisations
The event is part of the STS 2030 programme and uses the textile supply chain as an example. The strategies, principles and processes are comparable for all industries. The workshop is run by Swiss Fair Trade and is also open to organisations outside STS 2030.
